February

“La Lanterna del Popolo”: It was published an article to inform that on 11 December 2008 in Roma, in Capitol, to the Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine" was awarded the Green Flag Agriculture 2008 for having preserved the biodiversity, for the continuing research in the oil field and for having launched first in Italy the extra virgin olive oil single variety produced in 6 versions: “Nectar of Coratina”, of “Frantoio”, of “Leccino”, of  “Nociara”, of “Picholine”, of “Toscanina”.

In the article was highlighted that the important recognition has come at a sad time for the land of Salento, grappling with an economic crisis and an unprecedented natural disaster that has been an awkward one for all operators in the olive production.

It was also noted that the 2008 edition of Green Flag of the Agriculture saw the award of only 15 Agricultural Farms throughout Italy, of which only 2 in Puglia, and only one, the Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine", across the province of Brindisi.

“Nuova Agricoltura”: On 11 December 2008 in Roma, in Capitol, to the Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine" was awarded the Green Flag Agriculture 2008 for having preserved the biodiversity, for the continuing research in the oil field and for having launched first in Italy the extra virgin olive oil single variety produced in 6 versions: “Nectar of Coratina”, of “Frantoio”, of “Leccino”, of  “Nociara”, of “Picholine”, of “Toscanina”.

"C.I.A. Puglia.it": Even the bimonthly of the Italian Confederation Farmers has given wide relief to award of the Green Flag of the Agricultural 2008, culminating with the ceremony in Roma, in Capitol on 11 December 2008.

Only 2 the agricultural farms of Puglia that have been allocated this important national recognition: the Farm "Siero Lo Greco" of Laterza, in the province of Taranto and the Farm "Villa Carmine" of Carovigno, in the province of Brindisi, this last won the prestigious award for the Protection of biodiversity and the continued research into quality of extra virgin olive oil with the production of mono-varietal oils that enhance the diversity of taste and organoleptic properties of different cultivars.

“Lo Scudo”: It was published an article to inform that on 11 December 2008 in Roma, in Capitol, to the Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine" was awarded the Green Flag Agriculture 2008 for having preserved the biodiversity, for the continuing research in the oil field and for having launched first in Italy the extra virgin olive oil single variety produced in 6 versions: “Nectar of Coratina”, of “Frantoio”, of “Leccino”, of  “Nociara”, of “Picholine”, of “Toscanina”.

Approximately the extra virgin olive oil single variety will be produced and marketed  10 different versions.

“Nuovo Quotidiano of Puglia": It was published an article to inform that on 11 December 2008 in Roma, in Capitol, to the Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine" was awarded the Green Flag Agriculture 2008 for having preserved the biodiversity, for the continuing research in the oil field and for having launched first in Italy the extra virgin olive oil single variety produced in 6 versions: “Nectar of Coratina”, of “Frantoio”, of “Leccino”, of  “Nociara”, of “Picholine”, of “Toscanina”.

In the article was given ample space to the history of the farm, to the first steps in olive field, but also the events that have seen this wonderful reality carve out a respectable space in entrepreneurship oil.

November

“Agrisole”: It was published an article to celebrate the born of the extra virgin olive oil mono - varietal, not any more an ordinary oil, but a real "olive juice" obtained from the milling of the single farm cultivar, to enhance the organoleptic characteristics of each “olive juice".

It has also been published a full data sheet on the Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine" which discusses the data, plant sales, but also products mills, ranging from Green Gold to DOP oil "Collina di Brindisi" from 'single variety extra virgin olive oil, to oil obtained from organic farming, to the delicious "Flower of Tear", obtained manually by natural surfacing of the flower oil during kneading.

“Puglia”: It is a guide for over 10 years that promotes the better Puglia through a bilingual guide (Italian and English) that is widespread in Italy and abroad through newsagents and most prestigious international exhibitions.

The purpose of this guide is to promote the region of Puglia with its natural, cultural, architectural beauties, extra virgin olive oil, great wines, typical products of quality, recreational facilities, the resort towns, from the Gargano to Santa Maria of Leuca, through the Valle of Itria and Trulli of Alberobello, the Natural Reserve of Torre Guaceto and Lecce Baroque.

The Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine" is present in this guide with a whole page dedicated to the own agricultural activity, to the own products and to the dealers where is possible to buy its incomparable extra virgin olive oil.

“Sapori di Puglia”: It's an wine and food guide in which are promoted typical products of Puglia and of small and medium businesses that help to spread the name of Puglia around the world.

The guide is divided into categories: condiments, candies, sweets, cake, ice cream, dairy farms, bitters, cordials, liqueurs, elixirs, honey, jams, marmalades, mills, mills, oil, olives, pasta, fresh pasta, bread, biscuits, a kind of bread called “frisa” and “taralli”, sausage, sauces, pickles, pickled, pate, truffles.

The Agricultural Farm "Villa Carmine" is present in this guide with 2 entire pages dedicated to the own agricultural activity, to the own products above all his Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, but also driven visits and tasting on the place.

"Oli Italia": It is a guide to extra-virgin olive oil of quality certified DOP (Denomination of Origin Protected) and IGP (Indication of Geographical Provenance).

The objective is to provide a tool information to disseminate the value of quality certification for DOP and IGP in the production and marketing of extra-virgin olive oil.

The guide contain more than 100 oils certified DOP and IGP, collected in files that highlight not only the oil certified, but even the company, with its activities, its products.
